Controlling Access in Winhelp with a Password

Freeware

Use a Creative Macro Sequence to Protect Sensitive Topics.

Demo

This demo uses a keypad to input a sequence of numbers and letters. The wrong combination gives you a polite "Entry Denied" message. Click on the right combination to access the contents of the protected Winhelp file. Segregate and control access to various information levels, books or pages, without using a .dll.

Password.hlp provides macros to quickly create a password entry system: it uses a simple layout on a .SHG graphic that will let you change the password in seconds. The password is: C 7 # 2 , and click "Enter."
